Tesla has launched a redesigned version of its Model Y electric SUV in major global markets, including China, Europe, North America, and the UAE. The refreshed model, referred to internally as “Juniper,” introduces exterior styling changes, improved range, and new interior technology aimed at strengthening its position in the competitive electric vehicle segment. The updated Model Y features revised front and rear bumpers, streamlined LED lighting, and improved aerodynamics.

Tesla has responded to user feedback by reintroducing traditional steering stalks, replacing the touch-based controls found in previous models. Inside the vehicle, enhancements include a quieter cabin achieved through acoustic glass and upgraded insulation materials. A new rear passenger display has been added, along with ambient lighting and improved climate controls. Certain trims also offer ventilated front seats, powered rear folding seats, and an enhanced sound system.

The Long Range all-wheel-drive version now offers up to 624 kilometers under the WLTP standard, an increase from the previous 533 kilometers. Acceleration has also improved, with the Long Range variant reaching 100 kilometers per hour in approximately 4.1 seconds. The Performance version maintains its 0 to 100 kilometers per hour time of 3.7 seconds. In the UAE, Tesla continues to offer the Model Y through its official website. Customers can choose from Rear-Wheel Drive, Long Range, and Performance variants.

Orders can be placed online with a fully refundable AED 700 fee. Delivery estimates are provided at the time of configuration. Global pricing for the refreshed Model Y starts at approximately $59,990 in the United States and €60,990 in Europe. The vehicle is manufactured at several Tesla Gigafactories, including the Berlin-Brandenburg plant, which supplies vehicles to Europe and the Middle East.

Tesla’s Model Y was the best-selling car worldwide in 2023 and 2024, with more than 1.7 million units delivered last year. The Juniper refresh comes as competition in the electric SUV market intensifies, with new offerings from Hyundai, Kia, BMW, and several Chinese automakers. The updated Model Y is being delivered first in China, followed by Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Tesla has confirmed that it will continue offering the pre-refresh Model Y at a lower price point while supplies last. – By Content Syndication Services.
