SHARJAH, UAE / RankWire.AI / – Air Arabia will start nonstop flights between Sharjah and Gdansk on Dec. 14, 2026, adding a new connection between the UAE and northern Poland. The airline will operate five flights each week between Sharjah International Airport and Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport. Services will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The route will give travelers in Poland’s Pomeranian region a direct air link to Sharjah.

Air Arabia sets five weekly Sharjah Gdansk flights
Sharjah-Gdansk service adds northern Poland to Air Arabia’s expanding route network.

The Monday and Saturday schedule will see flight G9 0628 leave Sharjah at 4 p.m. and arrive in Gdansk at 8 p.m. Flight G9 0629 will depart Gdansk at 8:50 p.m. and reach Sharjah at 6:10 a.m. the next day. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the Sharjah departure will leave at 8:15 a.m. The return service will depart Gdansk at 1:05 p.m. and arrive in Sharjah at 10:25 p.m.

Gdansk will become Air Arabia’s fourth destination in Poland from Sharjah after the carrier’s announced December expansion takes effect. The airline already serves Krakow and Warsaw Chopin Airport from its main UAE base. It will also begin flights to Katowice on Dec. 17, 2026, three days after the Gdansk launch. The Katowice service will operate four times a week, bringing another Polish city into the carrier’s growing schedule.

Gdansk strengthens direct links with northern Poland

The new Gdansk service adds a Baltic coast destination to Air Arabia’s European network from Sharjah. The airline also serves several major European cities, including Athens, Vienna, Prague, Milan, Munich, Rome and London Gatwick. Gdansk Airport serves the wider Tri-City area of Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot, as well as other parts of northern Poland. The airport provides domestic and international connections for both leisure and business travelers across the region.

Air Arabia Group Chief Executive Adel Al Ali said Gdansk would expand the carrier’s presence in Poland. Gdansk Airport President Tomasz Kloskowski also highlighted the direct connection between the Pomeranian region and the UAE. The airport has identified Sharjah as a transfer point for onward travel to destinations in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and East Africa. The new flights will therefore connect Gdansk passengers with Air Arabia’s broader network through its Sharjah hub.

Five weekly services set for December launch

Air Arabia operates Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft across its network and has opened bookings for the Gdansk route. The carrier lists flight G9 0628 for Monday and Saturday departures from Sharjah, with G9 0629 operating the return sectors. Wednesday, Friday and Sunday services will use flight G9 0626 from Sharjah and G9 0627 from Gdansk. All times in the published timetable are local, and the route will operate nonstop in both directions.

The Dec. 14 launch will expand Air Arabia’s direct Poland network shortly before the carrier begins its Katowice service. With Krakow and Warsaw already operating, the two December additions will give the airline four Polish destinations from Sharjah. Gdansk will receive five weekly flights, while Katowice will receive four under the announced schedules. Air Arabia continues to list the Gdansk start date and five-flight weekly timetable as confirmed for December 2026.
